Poco Lau'ca is a vibrant and dynamic composition for brass band and percussion, commissioned in 2024 by the Fanfare Paroissiale de Siviriez, dedicated to their conductor, Laurent Carrel, for his 25 years of service.

The piece opens with a cluster chord groove, gradually introducing each section of the band.
A short Latin-inspired introduction then leads into the first melodic line, delicately carried by the flugel and horns. As the piece progresses, the rhythmic intensity builds, weaving through different themes and motifs. There are solos for Soprano, Principal Cornet, Flugel and Trombone as well as soli features for Cornets, Flugel and horns, Euphonium and Baritones and percussion.
