"Never No Lament" is a jazz standard by composer Duke Ellington. The song, more commonly known as "Don't Get Around Much Anymore", was first recorded on May 4, 1940 by Duke Ellington and his orchestra. "Don't Get Around Much Anymore" became an instant hit after Bob Russell wrote the lyrics in 1942.
