Atlas is a poignant musical journey through the eyes of a young boy aboard a spaceship, witnessing the past, present, and future of Earth. Set in a future ravaged by World War III, the piece opens with serene, delicate tones and a tender Euphonium solo, painting a nostalgic portrait of a once-thriving planet. As the video shifts to scenes of war, a cornet and trombone duet highlights the devastation, gradually building with the full ensemble into a powerful climax of pain, love, and remembrance. A haunting horn solo follows, leading to a reflective return to the opening theme. In the final moments, the boy realises his role in restoring the Earth, and Atlas closes with a sense of cautious optimism - a reminder that even after immense loss, hope and renewal remain possible.
