The film "Schindler's List" tells the story of Oskar Schindler, a Czech businessman and member of the Nazis.
When World War II broke outin 1939, he opened a factory in Poland employing Jewish workers because they were cheaper than non-Jewish Poles. After witnessing theNazi atrocities against the Jews, he was determined to save as many Jews as possible by compiling a list of essential workers. Those on his list thus avoided being sent to Auschwitz. Schindler did all this at great personal cost. Today, he is remembered as a hero who saved more than 1,100 lives. Written by composer John Williams, this theme for the film captures all the drama and melancholy of the story. Arranged for brass band & percussion by Daniel Hall
